Den 21. september følger Suede kritikersuccessen Night Thoughts op med et nyt album, der bærer titlen The Blue Hour.

Det er første gang siden albummet A New Morning fra 2002, at Ed Buller ikke producerer. Den tjans er i stedet givet til stjerneproduceren Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, NIN, Foo Fighters, The Killers m.fl.) - hans første samarbejde med Suede.

Ifølge frontmand Brett Anderson har han på det nye album taget et kig på det velkendte Suede-univers med udgangspunkt i, hvordan hans lille søn ville se på det. Lydligt har bandet også udfordret sig selv ved at prøve kræfter med korarrangementer, spoken word og en masse udendørsoptagelser.

The Blue Hour kommer på CD, LP og i et begrænset deluxebokssæt der indeholder: Albummet som 2LP og 1CD; en instrumental-CD; en DVD med kommentarspor fra Brett, Mat & Richard, Neil, Alan Moulder (producer) & Ceaser Edmunds (lydtekniker) + trailervideo til albummet og "The Invisibles" og "Don’t be afraid if nobody loves you"-promovideoer; diverse kort med artwork/illustrationer.
