Looking for Chairman XI at Yuyang Garden and Putin Near the Bund 5-21-2014

Who am I: I am an American that got the luxury to teach in Busan, Shanghai and Zhuzhou. While there had some time to do some exploration of many places with my camera. I hope to go back to see more with my camera and my travel companion Ralph the Rat. This is one trip of many written into my diary, so it's published in that form with some added information like this. Ralph the Rat is my noble travel companion that my students loved to hear stories from. My nephew who is Autistic found him interesting in some of my early pictures, so added him into the stories and pictures for both the students and my nephew. People have for years told me that I can't do things and showing that I can. This is my attempt at self-publishing. I don't think I will sell many, but hope for the best. I would love to pay off my student loans with the money I made while giving some to One Million Words who takes school supplies and other needed things to orphanages and migrant schools (low-income schools). If enough like this story I have many more to share as well as pictures that I have taken along the way. There was a news story in the local press that Chairman Xi and his wife were coming to Shanghai. It had a basic itinerary on what they were going to do and where they plan on visiting. I was happy to see there was one day that I had off and maybe could see Xi and his wife. I thought it would be really interesting if I could see them in real life. I have seen and met many politicians, dignitaries, actors, actresses and musicians. What if I could see a politician and spouse from another nation in their own country? Take a picture of them in a famous site? They were supposed to be doing a special event in Yuyuan Garden. It would be interesting.
