Bayou Gold

Millions of dollars in gold is scattered in the marshlands of a bayou. A local fishing guide has been finding clues to the existence of an ancient shipwreck but he is now suddenly involved in a bank robbery and murder. A local Native American has possession of a deerskin parchment that has been passed down through generations of his tribe and that is covered in strange symbols. These things and more are woven into an adventure that involves treasure, intrigue, murder and romance as well as conquest in the jungles of Mexico and survival in the swamp lands of Louisiana. A writer researching the source of Spanish artifacts being found along the Gulf Coast finds himself drawn in to a small group of friends that are searching for the source of these treasures...and the Aztec demon that went down with the ship they came from. That ship is El Caballo de la Rey, The Horse of the King.
