Tazoacha Francis
Forests and climate change are intrinsically linked to each other. Deforestation is believed to be one of the causes reserving the natural processes in the ecosystem at a faster rate due to poor management forests resources. The implications of poor forest management aggravated by climate change are affecting biodiversity and mankind seriously. Therefore improving sustainable community land use especially by means of sustainable forest management through a participatory and ecosystem approach and community-based forest management approach will ameliorate forests; mitigate climate change effects and livelihood opportunities.
