She spent the following years in the Credit and Risk Department of State Street Bank, the largest custodian bank in the world. While there, she gained the CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) designation. Subsequently, she became an independent online trader and portfolio management consultant for high net worth individuals and helped establish the first Thai Canadian collaboration project to bring world class hospice care to Thailand. In 2007, during the U. S. real estate market crash, she started a real estate redevelopment and loss mitigation company that she runs to this day. She also serves as Treasurer on the board of River Styx Magazine, the longest continuously published literary magazine in the US. Ms. Annecchiarico speaks three languages and has lived in seven different countries across three continents.
